As you drive along the busy roads with traffic lined up and down its always a nice thought when you are heading home.

It doesn't matter whether home is a castle set on a hill, a rustic cottage in the woodland or a shack nestled near the beach

When you wake in the morning and look out your window its nice to know you are home, a place that is comforting, peaceful and loving.

Home is where the heart is xx

Orange

Let me introduce you to the Orange family all looking rather gorgeous in their orange stripes, polka dots and florals - where are they off to you ask??

Before I can tell you that Odele Orange must put on her elegant crochet bracelet in lavendar, orange and sand.

Ophelia Orange gathers up her felt clutch just the right size for her lipstick and i-phone.

And Oriana Orange would not dare leave the house without her tangerine earrings.

So where are Mr & Mrs Orange going? To pick apples of course!!

A Bit Sheepish

Nicollete the white felt sheep is a friendly kind of girl

As is lamby lamp with his tiny feathery companion.

As for this guy a paddock full of greeny grass goodness would make any sheep smile

Us humans must thank them for literally giving the wool off their backs to make a gorgeous woollen scarf to keep us warm

Cuddly Soft

As a child I could not imagine being without a cuddly little friend to take to bed at night to keep me company from all the scary monsters that apparently lurked under my bed. Also what a great comfort he was when I was sad, feeling unwell or got in trouble for being mischievious.

I was talking to a friend of mine recently who stated she was trying to teach her soon-to-be teenage daughter how to knit. It got me thinking how my mother and dear grandma 'tried' to teach me the art of knitting which I failed miserably - unfortunately.
